Training

Alison Koenig and Koenig Quarter Horses, LLC accepts horses for full time training in the following disciplines:  hunter under saddle, hunter and equitation over fences, horsemanship and showmanship.  Also, boarders at Badger Ridge Farm can arrange for individual training rides with Alison to overcome a specific training problem.  Alison Koenig and her students show at AQHA shows at the local and national level.  Check out our Showing and Winners pages to see the multiple awards they have won.

Facility:

Badger Ridge Farm is a full service boarding facility. Badger Ridge Farm is nestled on 38 acres, 20 of which are wooded with beautiful winding trails.  We have 11 stalls available to boarders with private lockers.  Lockers are also available to pasture boarders. 

                            
We have a 60x100 indoor arena and soon to come heated/cooled viewing area.  A 100x200 outdoor arena with beautiful new hunter jumps.

 

We feed high quality grain and hay and turnout is based on how herds work best.  We treat each horse as if they are our own.  We try our best to make the best decisions possible for each horse’s well being.
